Globe Galleries Limited first opened its doors in March 1975, when father and son team Ellis and William (Bill) Evans, joined forces and set up in business together. Ellis came from a strong retail background and throughout his life had a passion for collectibles leading to a wide and varied knowledge of the market. Bill had spent the previous 6 years in Southampton dealing with commercial sales and sales of antiques, as well as probate and insurance valuations. Prior to that, he spent 7 years in the Andover area as an auctioneer and valuer.

Together, with Ellis' passion, knowledge and retail experience, and Bill's expertise in valuations and antiques, their combined knowledge and abilities leant themselves perfectly to a business dealing in collectibles and antiques, and so Globe Galleries was born.

Ellis sadly passed away in 1984, but Bill continued the business and the shop thrived. In 1997, Bill was joined by his son William (Will) and the two have continued to successfully run the business ever since.

Set just off the main Andover high street, the business has maintained the same, listed premises since its inception. It occupies a warren of space in what was once the coach barn, stable block and hayloft of the coaching inn, the Globe.

Its 6 rooms (3 on street level) are full of a huge range of items, from antiques and collectibles, from large to small, to more modern, newer items and in addition to the shop itself, Globe Galleries Limited also offers probate and insurance valuations, house clearances and a delivery service.

Services we offer include:

- House Clearances;

- Probate Valuations;

- Insurance Valuations;

- Delivery Service (free within 5 miles of Andover, fees may apply for further afield)
